Lara Croft GO App Reviews

I so wanted to love this game... But it is contrived and needlessly confounding, and finally, boring to the point of making me kill the protagonist intentionally... Sorry, its not Laras fault... But she kept checking her watch while I was trying to figure out the arcane, first year film student puzzle... Luckily, the lizards and spiders have full stomachs. I will give the Devs kudos for the movement.. It was odd at first to have to drag rather than click, but once I got used to it Our Lara moved quickly and seamlessly, albeit, one square at a time.

The cave of fire was good but I need more!

This game blew me away. I was a fan of Hitman GO, but Lara Croft GO takes it to a whole new level. I liked the take-your-time, puzzle-y nature of Hitman GO and the board game aesthetic, but Lara Croft took the series in an exciting new direction for the better. One thing I really appreciate is the time spent on storytelling and placemaking. Its not an amazing epic with strong character development, but you definitely feel like youre on an Indiana Jones kind of adventure. The mechanics are simple and fun. The animation and art and sound design are absolutely world class. The puzzles are witty and fun to play. All around an amazing game. Love it. Cant recommend it enough.

Definitely reminds me of the classic PS1 games I played in my childhood, but also new! Great balance and much preferred over the new Tomb Raider games.

In The Maze of Spirits, The Queen of Venom, there is a audio error where the queen is killed with a spear but the audio clip keeps playing. Other then that phenomenal game

Ive been on a Tomb Raider kick lately. This game is so brilliant, simple, perfect for the iPhone, and tons of fun. Lots of nice details in the art and tricks of the foreground. Puzzles are interesting and innovative. Love it! Perfect way to bring Lara to the mobile market.

I agree with samuraic4t its a cool game once I played it I was curious about what was in the fogs under the bridge. Ill continue playing and write a review and let you know how Im doing

Believe all the good things youve heard. This game does not disappoint.

It looks pretty simple at first but as you play it gets pretty creative and with lots of adventure,I love it and look forward to the next level.it be nice to make the adventure a lot longer.

Its a fun and challenging game, and I love the art style. Its hard to just stop at one level. Hope there will be more levels soon!

Just a ball of fun

This game has been the most unique game experiences for me in iOS, Id say. It is a deadly combo of beautiful execution, well thought-out puzzles and mind-twisting strategies! I love the fact that it challenges me at every step. Just cant wait for more additions in these intriguing TR chapters.

The backgrounds (and foreground), game play and soundtrack are all top notch. Very fun to play, I couldnt put it down. I wouldnt change a thing about the game, I just hope they offer new levels as in-app purchases.

Once I started the game it was hard to put down. The puzzles are challenging and fun.

The animations and scenes bring me right back into the world of Tomb Raider. I lack the relfexes and patience to play the newer titles, so this scratches the nostalgia itch very nicely. The puzzles are tricky but not cumbersome, and the "boss" making appearances gives the game an excitement and adrenaline rush you just dont get from other puzzle games. I hope there are sequels planned.

See, the game seems solid. It just flat out doesnt work on my iPhone 4s. It crashes frequently. And when its not crashing its lagging like crazy. I really hope my phone isnt the problem; as I really want to play this. As far as I can tell though, it is.
